About The Position

This role is responsible for the handling and processing of shipments, receiving, work orders, pick slips, transporting inventory, Kanban replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory locations and counts throughout the warehouse. The position requires adherence to Franklin Fueling Systems Quality System policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, as well as following detailed work instructions, processes, and procedures. The Team Lead will report any safety, quality, process, equipment, or material issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. A clean and organized work area is essential for efficient manufacturing functions. The role involves operating a powered industrial forklift for inventory transport, loading, and unloading trucks, as well as pulling and staging orders for shipment or production. Responsibilities also include filling and transacting work orders, purchase orders, or sales orders, performing cycle counts, and conducting quality checks on stock items to identify defects or damage. Other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
  • Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
  • Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
  • Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer skills: Barcode scanner.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months or more experience working in shipping or receiving (preferred).
  • Forklift Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities
