About The Position

The Roger Bacon Academy is seeking a 1st grade Teacher for the 26-27 school year to join their award-winning public charter school in southeastern North Carolina. The school emphasizes a researched-based Direct Instruction curriculum focusing on phonics, writing, mathematics, science, music, and art, drawing from classical sources to provide a strong foundation in western civilization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education.
• Valid teaching certificate from North Carolina or a partnering state in the area for which the candidate is applying.
• Ability to be on feet at all times during the day while working with individual students.
