About The Position

We’re looking for a teacher who enjoys working with early elementary students and wants to be part of a collaborative school community. As a 1st-grade teacher, you’ll create a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day. You’ll work closely with fellow teachers, school leadership, and families to help students grow academically and socially.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience teaching in a lower elementary classroom.
A warm, dependable, and student-centered approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the Stratford curriculum.
Create a positive, organized classroom environment that supports student learning and independence.
Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families.
Collaborate with grade-level teammates and school leadership to support student success.
