Under the direction of the Sous Chef(s) and Chef de Cuisine, the primary duty of the 1st Cook is to prepare high quality food-to-order for guests based on established guidelines. Additional responsibilities include maintaining clean and sanitized work areas. The role requires collaboration, multi-tasking, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The 1st Cook contributes to a safe and welcoming work environment, leads by example, and provides a learning environment, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures. A key aspect of this role is embracing and aligning with Casino Nova Scotia’s culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.
