About The Position
Meadows Golf Club, a premier golf destination in Sarasota, Florida, is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our Golf Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who is passionate about the game, player development, and delivering an outstanding member and guest experience.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Teaching experience and enthusiasm for player development
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and positive, team-first attitude
Nice To Haves
- PGA Associate or PGA Member in good standing (preferred, not required)
- experience with Golf Genius preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily golf operations, including tee sheets, customer service, and tournament execution
- Provide high-quality golf instruction through private lessons, clinics, and player development programs
- Support merchandising, inventory management, and pro shop presentation
- Enforce golf course policies, pace of play, and Rules of Golf
- Deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and tournament participants
- Assist with junior golf programs, leagues, and special events
- Open and close pro shop operations as scheduled
