2027 1L IP Summer Associate
About The Position
Pirkey Barber is seeking 1L Summer Associates for its six-week 2027 summer program, scheduled for the second half of summer in Austin, Texas. The firm focuses on trademark, trade dress, copyright, and unfair competition law and does not handle patents. Its attorneys advise and represent clients worldwide on trademark-related matters, including intellectual property litigation, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office proceedings, domain name disputes, trademark policing, clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, trade dress, advertising counseling and false advertising litigation, social media and online branding issues, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement. Summer Associates are expected to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected compensation is $3,115.26 per week. Applicants who will now or in the future require a U.S. visa sponsored by the firm are not eligible.
Requirements
- Must be a J.D. student in the Class of 2029.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the highest quality of client service.
