About The Position

RFK Community Alliance is hiring a temporary, part-time 1:1 Teacher’s Aide at Dr. Franklin Perkins School in Lancaster, Massachusetts. The position is scheduled for 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, with pay of $20.50–$21.75 per hour. The aide partners with the classroom teacher to support the implementation and evaluation of daily lesson plans. They provide individualized instruction, guidance, and support to one student to help them meet academic, social, and emotional goals outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). The role offers specialized training and hands-on experience in special education, and may suit someone interested in a future career as a special education teacher. Requirements

High school diploma required.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Be collaborative and supportive, value teamwork, and work closely with the classroom teacher and other educational staff.
