About The Position

RFK Community Alliance is hiring a temporary 1:1 Teacher’s Aide at Dr. Franklin Perkins School in Lancaster, Massachusetts. The role works in partnership with the classroom teacher to support the implementation and evaluation of daily lesson plans. The aide provides individualized instruction, guidance, and support to one student to help them achieve academic, social, and emotional goals outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). The position offers specialized training and hands-on experience in special education, and may suit someone interested in pursuing a future career as a special education teacher. The schedule is part-time, three hours per day, five days per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
