About The Position
Accucare Nursing and Home Care is hiring a registered nurse to provide 1:1 nursing care in a patient's home in Florida, New York. The patient is a 21-year-old who has a gastrostomy, is non-ambulatory and non-verbal, and has seizure activity. Pet cats are present in the home. Patient-specific training is provided, and other cases or shifts may be available in surrounding areas. Available schedules include weekdays, weekends, and per diem shifts. Listed shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM; Friday from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM; and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Compensation is $45 per hour, with differential pay based on education, experience, certifications, and work in high-need areas. Remote onboarding is available.
Requirements
- NYS nursing licensure is required.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must complete onboarding before training.
- Must complete nursing notes within 24 hours after the shift.
- Must have malpractice insurance.
