TL;DR: Tailoring in Teal is not manual work: it finds the keywords each job asks for that your resume is missing, and its AI drafts bullets for them when you ask. You read the resume before you send it. Jobloo's AI writes the tailored CV and submits it after you swipe, and you see it once it has gone. Teal is free to start, and Teal+ is $13 every 7 days, $29 every 30 days, $79 every 90 days or $179 a year.
Jobloo's review of Teal calls its resume tailoring "entirely manual," and that is not how it works. When you save a job, Teal shows which of the posting's keywords your resume has and which it is missing, and its AI will draft a bullet for a missing keyword when you ask. The part left to you is deciding what an employer reads. On Jobloo, its AI writes the tailored CV and sends it, and you read it after it has gone.
Is Teal's resume tailoring manual?
No. The slow parts of tailoring are finding what a posting asks for and writing lines that show you have it. Teal does the first and helps with the second.
Save the job with the Chrome extension, or add it by hand, and open it next to your resume in the Job Matcher. Each keyword from the posting shows green if your resume has it, yellow if a bullet in your master resume has it but isn't switched on in this resume, and red if nothing you wrote has it.
Say a project coordinator posting asks for "vendor management." If your master resume has a bullet from an older role about running three suppliers' delivery schedules, switched off in this version, the keyword shows yellow: turn that bullet on and it goes green. If no bullet like that exists, it shows red: ask the AI to draft one from "vendor management." Keep it, ask for another, or rewrite it until it describes work you did, with your own numbers.
How to finish a bullet the AI drafts
The drafts leave a placeholder such as "X%" where a number belongs, as in the panel above. Put in a figure you can back up, or cut the clause. A number you made up is worse than no number, because an interviewer will ask about it.
AI draft: "Managed marketing budget, reducing costs by X% while maintaining high quality campaigns."
Your version: "Managed a $40,000 quarterly campaign budget and moved two events to lower-cost venues without cutting attendance."
Why it works: it keeps the words the posting asked for, swaps the placeholder for details that are yours, and gives you something to talk through in an interview.
The review's "15 to 30 minutes" per job counts the cover letter and the application form too. Tailoring the resume itself takes about 10 to 15 minutes a job once you have a system. If you apply to 20 jobs, that time is what turns 20 copies of one resume into 20 resumes that each answer their own posting. The step-by-step is in how to tailor your resume to a job.
Jobloo review: what happens after you swipe
Jobloo is built the other way round. Here is the flow its site describes:
- You swipe right on a job you like.
- Its AI opens the company's application page, fills in every field and writes a CV tailored to that job.
- A second AI pass checks the application for errors.
- Jobloo's servers submit it, in under 60 seconds.
- You review the application that was sent, in the app.
Jobloo's terms define Auto-Apply as submitting an application "when an offer is validated by the User," and the swipe is that validation. Jobloo works on Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters, says custom career portals sometimes fail, and does not cover LinkedIn.
Its FAQ asks, "Do employers know the application is automated?" and answers, "No." Its terms are less sure: they warn that some recruiters and applicant tracking systems use tools that detect or block automated submissions, and that a failure caused by those systems does not trigger reimbursement once a submission was attempted.
Job seekers are wary of that trade. In Greenhouse's 2026 survey of 1,200 U.S. job seekers, only 5% would let an AI agent apply to jobs on its own, and most said candidates should disclose when one does.
Dave Fano, Teal's CEO, puts the case for keeping the choice: "Ultimately, you'll move forward if you put in the work, are fit for the position, and submit materials—like your resume—showing you're qualified." The resume an employer reads should be one you have read first.
Teal pricing: free plan and Teal+

For tailoring, Teal+ matters once you are applying to more than a few jobs: the one-time free AI set covers a handful of bullets, while Teal+ drafts as many as you need and shows every keyword in each posting, not only the top five.
Jobloo has no pricing page. It gives free daily credits, uses one credit for each application with no daily limit while credits last, and sells credit packs and weekly or monthly plans, with prices shown before you buy. Some plans start with a seven-day free trial, then renew weekly or monthly.
Teal resume builder review: pros and cons for tailoring
The pros, if you tailor a resume for every job:
- You start from what you have: upload an existing resume, import your LinkedIn profile or build one from scratch.
- Every job can have its own version of your resume, at no cost.
- The Chrome extension saves a job from any job board or company page.
- Every job you save stays in your Job Tracker with its stage and notes.
And the cons:
- Teal does not submit applications: you apply on each employer's own page.
- Free AI writing is a one-time set, so tailoring many jobs with the AI needs Teal+.
Is Jobloo legit?
Yes. Jobloo is a French company founded by Hicham Rabbaa, who also wrote its review of Teal. The callback rates and minutes per application in its posts are its own figures.
If you want a resume made for each job without letting software send it for you, save the next job you want in Teal and work through its red and yellow keywords.
