TL;DR: In Teal, you save each job, make a version of your resume for it, send it yourself and track it, free or on Teal+ from $13 a week. Every employer reads a resume made for their job. LoopCV applies for you, sending the CV stored in your profile and template emails to matching jobs, up to 10 a month free, 100 for $19.99 or 300 for $59.99.

Teal is a job search workspace: you save each job you want, make a version of your resume for it, send the application yourself and track it. Unlimited resumes, PDF downloads and job tracking are free, and Teal+ starts at $13 a week. LoopCV sends applications for you, up to 100 a month for $19.99 or 300 for $59.99. The difference that matters is what an employer reads: a resume made for their job, or the CV stored in your LoopCV profile.

Does Teal auto-apply to jobs?

No, and that is on purpose. Teal does not submit applications or fill in forms for you. It gets each application ready: the job saved with its details, the keywords the posting asks for, and a resume version that puts forward the experience that job wants. You apply on the company's site, and the job stays in your Job Tracker, where you move it from stage to stage. Most of the tailoring is choosing, not writing: you keep more bullets in your resume than any one job needs, then turn on the ones that match this posting. If you already have a CV in LoopCV, upload the same file to Teal as a PDF or Word document and make your first job's version from it.

In Teal, nothing reaches an employer that you did not choose to send. Teal members who tracked their 2025 search all the way to an offer applied to about half the jobs they saved: around 5 a week, or 22 a month, each with a resume tailored to it, and landed an offer in about 2 months. LoopCV's paid plans are built to send 100 or 300 a month.

Teal review pros and cons, and what LoopCV's review gets wrong

LoopCV's review of Teal, written by its CEO George Avgenakis and last updated October 15, 2026, gets the main point right: "It does not apply to jobs for you; you still submit every application manually." Three details are out of date.

What Teal does well:

  • Resumes, saved jobs and applications live in one account, with no limit on resumes, PDF downloads or tracked jobs, even without paying.
  • The Chrome extension saves a job from any webpage, so your list is not limited to the boards a tool supports. That includes a company's own careers page.
  • The Job Matcher shows which of a job's keywords your resume has and which it misses: the top 5 per job for free, and the full list plus custom keywords on Teal+.

Where it asks more of you:

  • Tailoring your resume takes about 10 to 15 minutes per application once you have a system.
  • After the free AI credits, unlimited AI writing is on Teal+, along with more templates and advanced settings.
  • Resumes download as PDFs, and the extension runs in Chrome on a computer.

Does LoopCV actually work?

It does what it says: it sends applications in your name. You set up job title searches, which LoopCV calls loops, and it scans job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor for matches, covering 3 boards free or 20 on a paid plan. When a job's application can be completed automatically, LoopCV submits it with the CV and details stored in your profile. When it finds a contact, it can also email the employer from a template you set up, with your CV and a short introduction. All of this runs on LoopCV's servers, so it goes on while your computer is off.

Screening questions from a form are collected in a Questions tab for you to answer once, and on Premium, LoopCV's AI can answer them. When you reach your plan's monthly limit, sending pauses until your credits renew or you buy more. Each plan also includes AI checks of your CV: 2 on the free plan, 10 on Standard and 30 on Premium.

LoopCV gives you two ways to control what goes out. You can upload more than one CV and choose the right one for different roles, and you can turn Auto-Apply off and use One-Click Apply, which shows each match for you to review before you apply. With Auto-Apply on, the CV a search uses goes to every match it finds.

With LoopCV's Auto-Apply on, steps 2 to 4 happen without you.

As Dave Fano, Teal's CEO, puts it: "Auto-apply may seem like a quick win, but it can flood the system with unqualified applications, making it harder for qualified candidates to get noticed." Employers have pushed back, too: "Email confirmation after you apply is now a built-in requirement in many ATS systems because of auto-apply tools," Dave says. Whoever presses send, the employer reads the application as yours.

How much does LoopCV cost?

LoopCV charges by volume. Its free plan sends up to 10 applications or emails a month. The free plan has no time limit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is LoopCV legit?

Yes. LoopCV is a real job application service, run by a company with an address in Thessaloniki, Greece, and its CEO and co-founder is George Avgenakis. It sends applications in your name, so the CV in your LoopCV profile is what employers read. In Teal, you make a version of your resume for each job before you send it.

Does LoopCV have a Chrome extension?

Yes. LoopCV's extension lets it apply on job boards where you have to log in, without asking for your password. Teal's Chrome extension does a different job: it saves a posting from any webpage into your Teal Job Tracker, and you apply yourself.
