The Zumba/Dance Fitness instructor reports to the Group Fitness Manager and Director General Manager. The role involves teaching safe and effective exercise classes, maintaining required certifications, following club procedures, and providing a professional, helpful experience for members. Work is performed in person. The description states that candidates must be a United Citizen. Duties and requirements may be subject to change or alteration at any time.

Requirements

Maintain a valid CPR certification.
Have experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
Have strong customer service skills.
Have good verbal communication skills.
Be a United Citizen.

Nice To Haves

Nationally accredited aerobic certification, such as AFAA, ACE, or NASM, is preferred.
Valid Zumba certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
Follow all club and facility policies and procedures.
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
