About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Zumba Instructor to lead after-school classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching Zumba classes that are fun, energetic, and age-appropriate, promoting physical activity and a love for dance. Classes will be held weekly from September 2026 to January 2027.
Requirements
- Experience teaching Zumba or a similar dance fitness program.
- Ability to engage and manage children in a group setting.
- Knowledge of Zumba routines and modifications for different age groups.
- Reliable transportation to the site location.
- Must be available on Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
- Must be available from September 2026 to January 2027.
Nice To Haves
- Zumba instructor certification.
- Experience working with children in an after-school program setting.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct Zumba classes for K-5th grade students.
- Create a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during class.
- Manage class time effectively to cover all planned activities.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding class progress and any issues.
