About The Position

The DevOps Systems Engineer will contribute to the Zero Trust Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ZT ICAM) program, supporting solution deployments for Department of Defense customers. Working under the guidance of senior engineering staff, this role will participate in automated build, test, packaging, deployment, monitoring, and release operations; provide support for Linux and containerized environments; and help sustain consistent deployment configurations along with associated technical documentation. The ideal candidate brings foundational DevOps knowledge and hands‑on exposure to Kubernetes, with a strong motivation to expand these skills while contributing to an integrated enterprise solution used across diverse customer environments. This position is for a Software Engineer to support mission-critical web service development in support of an Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solution. Technical responsibilities include support for AWS cloud-native software design, development, integration, testing, and operational maintenance of highly available, enterprise level services.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines is required.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience is required.
  • 2+ years’ work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains is required.
  • 4 years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, for a total of 9 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS native development including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, as well as IAM roles/permissions/SCPs.
  • High level of proficiency and skill with Java & Javascript software development
  • Experience with TerraForm and/or infrastructure-as-code.
  • Familiar with Linux environments
  • Skilled at building robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
  • Ability to write unit test cases using Junit/Mock testing frameworks
  • Experienced with automated builds using Gitlab Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • PKI encryption and authentication
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
