About The Position
LTC is seeking contracted Zou language interpreters in Indianapolis, IN. This is a vendor role where interpreters will function on an IRS Form 1099 basis and will accept appointments on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of settings including medical, social work, education, and workplace environments.
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Zou.
- Minimum of 2 years medical interpreting experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Must live within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN.
Nice To Haves
- Interpreting certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site, in-person interpretation.
- Be a liaison using the client’s preferred language.
- Accurately interpret appropriate to the setting and audience.
- Comply with all state, local, and federal laws and regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality of medical information, including HIPAA.
