The Zone Manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing two business operations that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction. This role is based out of Austin, TX and supports Austin, Round Rock, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio, TX. The Zone Manager will manage at least two branch managers within a zone and adjust sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each sales center based on goals set for the region. They will assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities, and develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the branches. The role involves researching, analyzing, and implementing strategic and marketing plans, and recommending desirable changes in the policies and goals of the branches and the organization. The Zone Manager is responsible for growing the business through new product development, complementary product development, and new customer and market development. They will assume responsibility for branches’ P&L to meet branch, region, and corporate profitability goals and objectives, conducting monthly reviews of branch P&L with branch managers and regional managers. The position requires interacting with customers to develop relationships and ensure requirements are met, as well as hiring, developing, and evaluating employees to achieve corporate and personal objectives. Business travel is up to 40% of the time. The Zone Manager performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by the regional manager, and other non-essential job duties may be assigned.
