About The Position

The Zone 2 Retail Team Leader, internally titled Zone Team Leader, serves as a store keyholder and provides guidance and direction for the successful operation of an assigned zone on the retail sales floor. The role oversees a team focused on merchandising and selling merchandise while supporting an exceptional associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include merchandising and customer-service oversight, maintaining operational standards, and performing Team Leader duties to open and close the store when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Execute established procedures for the assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
• Ensure store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations.
• Oversee planning for and receipt of merchandise and ensure the sales floor is properly stocked.
• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for effective merchandise unloading and processing to the sales floor.
• Drive associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer-service standards.
• Supervise associates in the assigned zone and communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.
• Perform Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
