Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Zero Trust Project Manager to support oversight, coordination, and monitoring of Zero Trust implementation efforts across the Department of War in Alexandria, Virginia. The role guides adoption of Zero Trust principles, assesses alignment with department-wide requirements, and helps senior leadership understand progress, risks, and dependencies across cybersecurity modernization activities. The role coordinates with engineering teams, enterprise architects, authorizing officials, and mission partners; identifies cross-program dependencies, interoperability constraints, capability gaps, and operational risks; tracks initiatives through implementation and operationalization; and develops executive briefings, risk summaries, and decision-support materials. The position requires U.S. citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, and 10 years of relevant experience. The role is described as hybrid. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; paid time off; paid parental leave; life and disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; commuter benefits; and tuition reimbursement.
