About The Position

Beast Industries is seeking individuals with a deep understanding of YouTube content strategy to join their team. This role focuses on the creative development and strategic analysis of YouTube videos, particularly for the MrBeast channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong point of view on what makes YouTube content successful, be able to analyze performance metrics, and contribute to video concept development, format design, and performance review. This is not a traditional application process; candidates are evaluated based on their thinking about YouTube and the MrBeast channel, rather than traditional resumes or years of experience.

Requirements

• Deep fluency with how the MrBeast channel works.
• Ability to watch the channel like someone who wants to understand why it works, not just consume it.
• Ability to name specific videos, specific moments, and explain what was working mechanically (retention hook, stakes architecture, escalation structure).
• Ability to identify where the channel has fallen short.
• Strong analytical instincts.
• Understanding of YouTube's performance metrics: view duration, CTR, retention curves.
• Ability to connect performance signals back to specific creative decisions.
• Data informs taste, but does not replace it.

Responsibilities

• Develop video concepts from title and thumbnail through to challenge structure and payoff.
• Own performance review across a set of channels, analyzing what worked and what didn't.
• Make concrete calls about what changes to implement.
• Have a strong, informed point of view on YouTube as a craft and be willing to articulate it.
• Analyze what makes a format retain viewers, what makes a title drive clicks, and what makes a challenge feel fair and a climax feel earned.
