Youth Yoga Teacher
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs for children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person. Company lesson plans and equipment are provided, with the goal of creating a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players. Programs include an After School Program, with classes scheduled Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM and pay of $50–$65 per class, and Saturday Tennis Clinics, paying $18–$24 per hour and scheduled Saturdays and/or Sundays. Back-to-back clinic sessions may be available. Saturday clinic opportunities are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. The position requires attendance at a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with each session lasting 2–3 hours. Applicants must currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
- Strong tennis and coaching skills for consideration for Saturday Tennis Clinic opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with 2–3 hours per session.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
