About The Position

This position is responsible for providing direct care and supervision to youth in a residential setting. The Youth Worker II will implement treatment plans, facilitate group and individual activities, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents. This role involves working various shifts, including evenings and weekends, with premium pay for these times.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working with youth in a residential or similar setting.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
Basic computer proficiency for documentation.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, sociology).
Experience with specific therapeutic modalities.
First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and supervision to youth in a residential setting.
Implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
Facilitate group and individual activities designed to promote positive youth development.
Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for all residents.
Document resident progress and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate services and support for youth.
Respond to emergencies and crises according to established protocols.
