About The Position
This position is responsible for providing direct care and supervision to youth in a residential setting. The Youth Worker I will implement treatment plans, facilitate group and individual activities, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for the residents. This role involves working various shifts, including evenings and weekends, with potential shift and holiday premiums.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with youth in a residential or similar setting.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and de-escalate challenging situations.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, sociology).
- Experience with specific therapeutic modalities.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
