About The Position

MVP360 Sports is expanding its youth development programs by launching volleyball camps and clinics for military children and families at various military installations across the U.S. and potentially overseas. As a premier youth development organization with over 13 years of experience, MVP360 Sports uses sports and performance activities to drive positive transformation, inspiring and empowering young athletes through dynamic camps, leadership training, and comprehensive programs that cultivate character, encourage healthy lifestyles, and support social-emotional growth. The "360" approach integrates education, wellness, and personal development, equipping children with essential life skills. These dedicated volleyball camps and clinics aim to help military youth sharpen their skills, enhance self-confidence, strengthen team bonds, and thrive in a fun, supportive atmosphere, complementing the mission to uplift the next generation and provide structured enrichment for military families. Coaches will lead training sessions, provide mentorship, and create transformative experiences for children.

Requirements

  • Valid and up-to-date driver's license.
  • Ability to pass all local, state, and federal background checks.
  • Clean driving and criminal record.
  • Ability to travel and be away from home for at least 6 days at a time.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching volleyball (youth level preferred).
  • Genuine passion for working with children of diverse skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel.
  • Alignment with core values of positive youth development, inclusivity, and mentorship.
  • Readiness to complete necessary background checks (including military-specific clearances as required).
  • High energy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in volleyball, sports management, recreation, or program coordination.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for sports and recreational activities with a community-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in cheer.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing volleyball programs that engage, educate, and inspire participants.
  • Planning events and coordinating activities.
  • Fostering an environment that promotes health, fitness, confidence, teamwork, and community engagement.
  • Leading training sessions for volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defense, and team strategies).
  • Providing mentorship to participants.
  • Creating unforgettable, transformative experiences for children.
  • Traveling to military installations for multi-day camps or clinics (typically 4-5 days, 3 hours per session).
