About The Position

Since 1946, The Village Network has been providing compassionate treatment to support the behavioral, physical, and emotional health of children and families. We offer community-based services, residential treatment, and treatment foster care programs. Our services are designed to individually assess the needs of each child and create dynamic treatment plans to help them transition from disruptive situations to stable environments. Requirements

Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Word and Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related degree required.
LSW or LPC required.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable.
Willingness to travel for various reasons, mainly during the day but occasionally overnight.
Ability to visit clients’ homes (may or may not be handicapped accessible).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong teamwork and organization/time management skills.
Ability to comply with The Village Network requirements for using restraints including sufficient strength and completion of extensive training.
Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds independently.
Must be able to remain alert to problems, needs or emergencies that might arise on any shift, maintaining a safe environment for the clients.
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral health services, including assessing a client’s therapeutic needs/strengths and establishing a therapeutic relationship.
Utilize interventions to enhance a client's overall functioning.
Meet agency standards and productivity by completing appropriate documentation and paperwork, including assessments, progress notes, reports, and Individual Service Plans.
Serve as a contact point for families, agencies, and courts, engaging in correspondence and communicating information within confidentiality policies.
Attend staff meetings, court hearings, etc., based on client needs.
Act as a clinical lead for cases by designing, writing, and coordinating individual treatment plans.
Read and analyze materials and reports from outside organizations.
Discuss client progress with staff and revise plans to ensure the best possible care.
Monitor compliance with treatment plans.
Participate in team and group meetings to discuss treatment.
Implement TVN’s clinical models (TIC, NMT & CPS) with fidelity.
Ensure the use of high-risk interventions (restraints) are kept to a minimum through the implementation of The Six Core Strategies to Creating Violence Free and Coercion Free Treatment Environments.
Work with culturally diverse populations/families.
Perform other duties as required.
