About The Position

Professional Services Group is now hiring for the part-time Youth Support Specialist with the Wraparound Services program in Sheboygan County. This role is ideal for individuals with human services experience or recent graduates seeking part-time opportunities. PSG/CIP is a dynamic and innovative social services organization dedicated to helping families achieve their greatest potential. The Wraparound Services Program in Sheboygan County works with families referred from the Sheboygan County Division of Children and Family Services. As the Youth Support Specialist, you will have a vital role in supporting youth and parents involved with Child Welfare and/or Youth Justice. The Youth Support Specialist provides skill-building and support to youth, and also supports and assists youth in the success of their individualized goals. Youth Support Specialists assist with services including: individual structured recreational activities that build social skills, crisis intervention, school support, and parent contact. Requirements

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

Analyze youth history, strengths, and issues to determine the services required to meet the unique needs of youth.
Implement and review youth goals in collaboration with team members, youth, and their families.
Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for youth in school, the community and during emergency and crisis situations.
Attend youth/family team meetings.
Organize and facilitate individual meetings and structured recreational activities that assist youth in developing pro-social skills and connections.
Safely transport clients as needed.
