Youth Sports Ninja Zone Coach
About The Position
Birons is seeking a passionate, athletic, mature, and energetic individual to join their NinjaZone program as a Youth Sports Ninja Zone Coach. The NinjaZone program is a nationally recognized program that combines obstacle course training, gymnastics, martial arts, and street dance, providing a dynamic environment for children aged 3 to 18 to thrive and stay active. The ideal candidate will have experience and a genuine love for working with children, be able to operate at a high activity level, and possess a strong yet caring character capable of independently managing groups of children. This is a part-time evening position with flexible hours.
Requirements
- Experience with martial arts is preferred.
- Able to operate at a high activity level.
- Strong yet caring character capable of managing a group of young boys or girls independently.
- Contagiously energetic personality.
- Positive outlook on situations and challenges.
- High level of maturity, initiative, and work ethic.
- Experience and a genuine love for working with kids.
- Available for part-time evening hours.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with martial arts is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coach high-energy NinjaZone classes for children aged 3-18.
- Guide athletes through warm-ups and dynamic stretching.
- Develop fine and gross motor skills.
- Lead obstacle course training.
- Teach introductory gymnastics rolls and skills, dance moves, and martial arts techniques.
- Manage groups of kids.
- Ensure safety supervision.
- Communicate with parents at the end of each class.
