Youth Sports Instructor
About The Position
Soccer Shots Long Island West is seeking passionate and energetic Youth Sports Instructors to lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2-8. This role involves conducting 30-50 minute classes at various locations including preschools, daycares, parks, community centers, elementary schools, and indoor facilities. The instructor will create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment, teaching soccer fundamentals and character-building lessons using the Soccer Shots curriculum. Key responsibilities include setting up for sessions, professional communication with families and staff, and adhering to program protocols. No prior coaching experience is required, but a passion for working with children and making a positive impact is essential. The company offers flexible scheduling, paid training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team culture.
Requirements
- No coaching experience required
- Ability to coach both indoors and outdoors
- Comfortable being active and managing the energy of young children
- Available to coach anywhere from 5–25 sessions per week, depending on your schedule
- Passion for working with children and making a positive impact
Nice To Haves
- Soccer playing experience at any level is a plus
Responsibilities

- Arrive 15 minutes early to set up and prepare for each session
- Communicate professionally with families, teachers, and site staff
- Follow attendance, safety, and program protocols
