About The Position
The position is for a part-time youth sports program instructor. The instructor will be responsible for teaching various sports at a basic level to children aged 3-5, maintaining their interest through engaging activities, and demonstrating high energy and initiative.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Prior experience working with children ages 3 - 5
- Knowledge of various sports and how to teach each on a very basic level
- Ability to maintain the interests of young children, by thinking ahead and moving quickly during transitions
- High-energy and initiative is a MUST
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate records of various sports programs
- Ability to come up with sports-specific activities and drills
- Will include refereeing and scorekeeping
- Ability to work weekends & evenings
