Youth Sports Coach - Part-Time
About The Position
Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our nationally recognized program offers a high-energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve. This part-time role involves leading high-energy 30-45 minute sessions for children ages 2-8 throughout the Queens area, blending soccer, education, and fun. Coaches will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in their community, experience rewarding work, and be part of a collaborative coaching team.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for children and sports.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Great energy, excellent communication skills, and responsible.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 1.5-8.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand, jog, and model skills.
- Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.
Nice To Haves
- Prior soccer experience is not required.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, formal or informal.
Responsibilities
