About The Position

TGA Premier Sports offers a national, school-based enrichment program that brings Tennis, Golf, & Pickleball directly to children ages 3–14 years old across Wake and Durham counties. Most classes take place on school campuses during after-school hours (between 2:00–5:00 PM). We care first and foremost about finding coaches who genuinely enjoy working with children. If you bring the energy, patience, and ability to connect with kids, we will teach you the sport. TGA provides full curriculum and training, so prior coaching experience is not required.

Requirements

• Genuine enjoyment of working with children.
• Willingness to be playful and engage with kids.
• Great communication skills, including quick responses to administrators.
• Positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
• Genuine passion for sports, movement, and keeping kids active.
• Experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.).
• Afternoon availability (around 2:30-5:30pm), 2-5 days per week.
• Willingness to work short shifts (typically 1-3 hours per day).
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to transport equipment.
• Ability to complete onboarding paperwork promptly.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Prior coaching experience is preferred.
• Experience with Tennis, Golf, and Pickleball is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Tennis, Golf, and Pickleball to children ages 3-14.
• Work with children in a school-based enrichment program.
• Conduct classes during after-school hours (between 2:00-5:00 PM).
• Communicate class performance to administrators.
• Transport equipment to and from class.
• Complete onboarding paperwork promptly.
