About The Position

Skyhawks Sports | Treasure Valley is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After-School Youth Sports Coach for Soccer and Basketball in Caldwell, Idaho. This part-time, in-person role involves coaching children aged 6 to 13 every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to make a significant impact on young lives by leading fun, skill-based sessions, building relationships, and ensuring every child feels included. The role requires reliability, a passion for working with children, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Skyhawks Sports is committed to teaching life skills through sports and has a strong presence across the Treasure Valley.

Requirements

Available every Tuesday and Thursday, 3 to 5pm, in Caldwell.
Good with kids.
Reliable.
A coaching heart is required.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Local to Caldwell, Nampa, or Middleton is preferred, but commuters are welcome.

Nice To Haves

A Soccer or Basketball background helps.
Experience in parenting, childcare, or early childhood education counts fully (for Tots Coaches).

Responsibilities

Lead small groups of kids ages 6 to 13 through fun, skill-based Soccer and Basketball sessions using Skyhawks' proven curriculum.
Build real relationships with the kids in your program and the parents who trust you with them.
Make every child feel like they belong, whatever their skill level.
Set up and manage equipment so the space stays safe and organized.
Show up prepared, communicate clearly, and represent Skyhawks with love for kids, coaches, and community.
