About The Position

Are you a dedicated, experienced youth worker seeking a fulfilling opportunity to guide and support teenage boys? Are you looking for weekend work and want to be a vital part of a team committed to improving our community? We are seeking a passionate, experienced Youth Specialist to join our team at a Youth Residential Program in Romulus, MI. We have full-time and part-time opportunities in a role essential to providing direct support, guidance, and security to youth in a supportive, structured residential environment. As a Youth Specialist, you will be a key role model and source of support for teenage boys residing in the program. We are looking to fill full-time and part-time positions on day and afternoon shifts on weekends. Candidates should have weekend availability.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Reliable, ongoing transportation is essential, as you must provide transportation for the youth.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory results on an MDHS Central Registry Clearance and State Police Record Check.
• Satisfactory physical exam within one year of hire and a negative TB test.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct support, guidance, and security to youth in a supportive, structured residential environment.
• Serving as a key role model and source of support for teenage boys residing in the program.
• Providing transportation for the youth.
