About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-9. This role involves bringing "Soccer Island" alive with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions, and encouraging character development through positive reinforcement and modeling. Coaches will utilize expert-created Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques, fostering a safe and inclusive environment. Effective communication with families, caregivers, and teachers is also a key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities

Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 9 years old, including field set-up and take-down
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers

The training rate is $15/hour
After completing training, pay is $20/hour (including admin and setup/breakdown time).
Pay can be up to $28/hour through advancement
