About The Position
Soccer Stars is seeking former athletes to inspire the next generation as Youth Soccer Coaches. The organization serves Long Island and Eastern Queens, offering engaging soccer classes, camps, and clinics for children aged 12 months to 13 years. Their mission is to use sports to help children develop confidence, communication, teamwork, and character in a supportive environment. Soccer Stars also offers multisport and non-contact martial arts programs.
Requirements
- Dependable, energetic individuals who enjoy mentoring children and leading by example
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Willingness to travel to schools, parks, and community locations throughout Long Island
- Ability to successfully complete a background check

- Arrive prepared and on time for every class
- Lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children of all skill levels
- Encourage effort, teamwork, and confidence through positive coaching
- Create a welcoming, non-competitive environment where children enjoy learning
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of each child
- Continue developing your coaching skills through ongoing training and feedback
- Follow the Soccer Stars Coaching Manual and curriculum
