Part-Time Youth Soccer Coach in Marin County
About The Position
Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves bringing "Soccer Island" alive with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions, encouraging character development through positive reinforcement and modeling, utilizing expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Effective communication with families, caregivers, and teachers is also key. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with opportunities to change availability seasonally, and requires a ten-week commitment for lead roles. Coaches will be responsible for field set-up and take-down.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for children and sports
- Safety conscious
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
- Must be available to work one day out of the weekend
- A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role
