About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves bringing "Soccer Island" to life with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions, including field set-up and take-down. The coach will encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling, utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers. The position is located in Castro Valley and San Leandro, and local candidates are preferred.

Requirements

Genuine passion for children and sports
Safety conscious
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
Local candidates only
Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.
A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.
