About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves bringing enthusiasm and creativity to soccer sessions, encouraging character development through positive reinforcement, and utilizing expert-created curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques. Coaches are responsible for fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all participants and communicating effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers. The company provides a supportive environment, comprehensive paid training (no experience required), and opportunities for career progression. The position is rewarding, allowing coaches to make a difference by sparking passion for the game and building confidence in kids. Local candidates only are considered.

Requirements

Genuine passion for children and sports
Safety conscious
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
Must be available to work one day out of the weekend
A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role

Responsibilities

Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity
Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers
