About The Position
Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. You’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our kids will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do. This role involves bringing "Soccer Island" alive with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down. You will encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling, utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session, and foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Effective communication with families, caregivers, and teachers is also key.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for children and sports
- Safety conscious
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
- Local candidates only
- Must be available to work one day out of the weekend
- A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.
