About The Position

Soccer Shots is looking for a passionate part-time soccer coach to serve children ages 2-8. We provide premier children's soccer experiences through 30-45 minute sessions at schools, childcare centers, and park programs. We operate year-round and assign classes over the course of a season. We coach at multiple locations in King County with over 2,000 children enrolled annually. Coaches make a significant difference in children's lives beyond the soccer field.

Requirements

Must be able to coach a minimum of 2 seasons (4 months)
Must be at least 19 years old
Must have previous Soccer Experience (school, club or rec playing/coaching)
Energetic, reliable, organized.
Drivers license.
Access to reliable transportation (car).
Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
Completed high school degree.
Eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Engage children aged 2-8 with enthusiasm and creativity.
Arrive to classes on time, commit to the season length.
Conduct soccer sessions including setup and takedown.
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement.
Utilize Soccer Shots’ curriculum and teaching techniques.
Lead groups of 10-12 kids for 30-45 minute classes.
Follow safety and attendance protocols.
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
