About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves bringing "Soccer Island" to life with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions, encouraging character development through positive reinforcement, utilizing expert-created curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques, fostering a safe and inclusive environment, and communicating effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers. The job offers a flexible schedule with opportunities for advancement and a supportive environment.

Requirements

Genuine passion for children and sports
Safety conscious
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.
A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

Responsibilities

Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers
