About The Position

Super Soccer Stars, a Youth Athletes United company, is seeking an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach to lead children in fun and educational activities while ensuring their safety. The company aims to provide the best youth sports programming, fostering an environment where every child feels like an athlete, promoting healthy habits, teaching life skills, and increasing youth activity. With over 24 years in the youth soccer business and recognized as the largest operating program in the US, Super Soccer Stars offers on-the-job training, a flexible schedule, and incentive programs. Coaches use individual attention, a non-competitive approach, and positive reinforcement to ensure children's success and enjoyment in a stress-free environment. Coaches are expected to be open-minded, embrace continuous learning, be receptive to feedback, and attend regular trainings.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, daycare worker).
• Availability to work 3-7 hours a week.
• Availability on weekdays between 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or Saturdays between 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
• Energetic, engaging, and fun personality.
• Enjoy working with children between the ages of 2-12.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead children in fun and educational soccer activities.
• Ensure the safety of all children during activities.
• Use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
• Utilize a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and stress-free.
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success.
• Attend regular trainings and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
• Travel up to 45 minutes to class locations.
