Youth Soccer Coach & Soccer Equipment Driver
About The Position
CSP is one of the largest and fastest growing private youth sports operators in the GTA. We provide fun, engaging experiences, creating lasting memories for the youth and families in our communities! We're looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and kid-friendly Youth Soccer Coach who will also be responsible for transporting soccer equipment between our facilities using our vehicle. We are currently hiring for Youth Soccer Coaches who have experience working with children from ages 2 - 14. Preference for coaches with experience across a wider age range.
Requirements
- Experience working with children from ages 2 - 14.
- Passionate about working with and engaging young children.
- Availability on weekday evenings (between 4pm - 8pm) and/or weekends (between 9am - 12pm on Saturday/ Sunday).
- Reliable and professional.
- Full, valid driver's license.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality.
- Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 2+ hours.
- Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.
Nice To Haves
- Experience across a wider age range of children.
- Experienced soccer coaches able to work with both Toddler and Youth ages.
- Experience with other types of young child sports organizations (SportBall, City Camps, Pedalheads, etc.) or soccer environments (Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, House Leagues, etc.).
- Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Coach youth soccer to children ages 2-14.
- Drive soccer equipment between CSP facilities using a company vehicle.
- Interact with children, parents, and co-workers.
- Deliver feedback to parents.
Benefits
- $19-27 per hour
- Bonus pay for soccer equipment transportation
