Children's Soccer Coach
About The Position
Soccer Shots is a youth soccer organization focused on building character through weekly soccer sessions. Our mission is to positively impact every child we coach and provide a remarkable experience for families on and off the field. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team of coaches, committed to our core values: Fun, Teamwork, Pursuit of Excellence, and Making a Difference. We offer noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes for children at various locations around the greater Austin area, including parks, preschools, daycares, and elementary schools.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
- Pass an FBI Criminal Background Check.
- Fully authorized to work in the US without restriction.
- Currently live in the greater Austin metropolitan area.
- Currently certified or able to become CPR & First Aid certified.
Nice To Haves
- Coaching or childhood education experience.
- Spanish proficiency/fluency.
- Available at least 3 half-days out of the week (or a minimum of 8 hours a week).
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly soccer sessions for children.
- Make a positive impact on children through soccer.
- Provide a remarkable experience for families.
- Manage a class of up to 12 children safely.
- Commit to an entire season schedule.
