Youth Soccer coach (Ages 2-6)
About The Position
Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 2–8 with a strong focus on character development. Our caring team provides best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication. Founded in 2018, Soccer Shots Westchester is committed to building a team of coaches who are enthusiastic, dependable, and ready to use soccer as a tool to positively impact the lives of children in our community. This role involves leading high-energy, FUN 30–60 minute sessions using our curriculum, ensuring every session is engaging, safe, and filled with encouragement. No prior soccer experience is required; a love for working with children is essential.
Requirements
- A love of working with children is an absolute MUST.
- Passion for positively impacting children ages 2–8.
- Reliable transportation + valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel to class locations throughout Westchester County.
- Ability to complete and pass our background check.
- Completion of our comprehensive, paid training program to become Soccer Shots certified.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in childcare, preschool, camps, recreation programs, or youth education.
Responsibilities

- Follow on-site protocols and create a safe, inclusive environment.
- Build relationships with children, use positive reinforcement, and bring genuine warmth to every class.
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to lead a structured class.
- Communicate clearly, follow policies, and work independently.
- Bring BIG enthusiasm to active, energetic, and fun sessions.
- Travel to class locations throughout Westchester County.
- Complete a comprehensive, paid training program to become Soccer Shots certified.
