About The Position
The Hopkinton Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and experienced Youth Services Supervisor to lead its Children's and Young Adult Services team. This role involves shaping library services for young people, working with a dedicated staff, and fostering creativity, community engagement, and public service. The supervisor will provide leadership for children's and teen collections, oversee programs and outreach, supervise staff, and develop a vision for youth services. This position also requires building partnerships with schools, families, and local organizations, and serving as a member of the library's leadership team.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (ALA-accredited)
- Three to five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a public library, with a focus on youth services
- A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring staff and building community partnerships
- A passion for serving children, teens, and families through innovative collections, programs, and services
