About The Position

OLV Human Services serves over 4,200 children, youth, adults, and families annually through a variety of services including residential care, mental health support, education, and assistance for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This event is an opportunity to interview for various youth residential positions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • NYS Driver's License
  • 60 credit hours completed AND currently enrolled in 4-year degree program in Human Services or related field (for Behavior Health Specialist)
  • Associate's Degree (for Behavior Health Specialist)
  • A High School diploma/GED with one year of paid child care experience (for Behavior Health Specialist)
  • TCI Certification (Training provided by OLVHS) (for Behavior Health Specialist)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or Higher in Human Services, Special Education or School Psychology (for Behavior Support Technicians)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of evidence-based methods to support individuals with Autism and/or Intellectual Disability and mental health involvement.
  • Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis approaches.
  • Conduct classroom and residential setting observations.
  • Perform data collection.
  • Support staff in implementing individual behavior protocols and behavior intervention plans.
  • Monitor treatment integrity.
  • Provide regular assistance with personal hygiene tasks.
  • May be assigned to special projects including administrative and organization tasks.
