About The Position

The New York Red Bulls Regional Development Schools (RDS) are seeking an experienced goalkeeper coach to join their player development staff. This role focuses on delivering the RDS curriculum at supplementary clinics and camps, coaching RDS Showcase Team goalkeepers during summer and winter, and providing limited support to the Academy Foundation Phase (U10 to U12) teams based on seasonal availability and business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of previous coaching experience.
• At least two years of coaching experience within the US.
• Must hold a valid driving license.
• Must have own vehicle for transportation.
• Must have a clean criminal record.

Nice To Haves

• USC National Goalkeeper diploma preferred.
• USC National diploma / USSF C license preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a sports-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide goalkeeper-specific supplementary training, focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development in line with the RDS Curriculum.
• Attend weekly RDS Team meetings to discuss player development issues.
• Assist with the revision and evolution of goalkeeper-specific curriculum.
• Manage the RDS Showcase process, including team selection, leading practices, and providing game day coaching for tournaments and games.
• Support Academy Foundation Phase teams by assisting head coaches with training sessions, game days, and seasonal tournaments, subject to schedule and need.
