This position provides direct supervision and leadership to a work crew of young adults participating in the TIGHT or AmeriCorps programs. The Crew Leader works alongside participants on labor based project sites, modeling effective work habits, safe practices, and quality workmanship. This includes performing and demonstrating manual labor tasks and working outdoors year round. The role supports participants' job skill development, educational progress, and life skill growth while ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate completion of assigned projects. The Crew Leader collaborates closely with partner agencies, project sponsors, employers, and community organizations to coordinate services, maintain strong working relationships, and identify career pathway opportunities. Responsibilities also include tracking participant progress, maintaining complete and accurate documentation, and assisting with the development of new project sites and training opportunities. This position is fully in person and is not eligible for consistent telework arrangements.
