Youth Program Instructor - Basketball (PT)
About The Position
The City of O'Fallon is now hiring for the position of Part time Youth Basketball Instructor. This person assists in the preparation, organization and management of our youth basketball program. We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable in recreational basketball, specifically program rules and set up procedures. This person must be comfortable communicating with parents, coaches and players. Prior experience in coaching or instructing basketball is desirable. In addition, this position provides input for improving recreational programs and helps to develop program curriculum and schedule.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in recreational basketball, specifically program rules and set up procedures.
- Comfortable communicating with parents, coaches and players.
- Possess skill in decision making and problem solving and dealing with the public.
- Possess a valid Missouri State driver's license.
- Able to work Sundays from 1 - 3 pm.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in coaching or instructing basketball is desirable.
