Youth Program Aides and Leaders (Part-time)
About The Position
The Healthy Families division is hiring for Youth Program Aides and Leaders for the City of Hampton's School Aged Program. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about shaping young minds, including current or retired educators, students aspiring to work in childcare or education, or anyone who loves working with children. The positions offer flexible hours, the chance to make a positive impact on school-aged children, and valuable experience in education, childcare, and leadership. Candidates will be selected for available positions at one of the various Before & After School Program sites for Hampton City Schools.
Requirements
- Youth Program Aide: Requires high school graduation or successful completion of a GED. Must be age 18 or older at time of application. This position is safety sensitive and is subject to testing for alcohol and controlled substances. Must successfully pass a background check.
- Youth Program Leader: Requires high school graduation or successful completion of a GED. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in leading recreational activities. Must be age 21 or older at the time of application. This position is safety sensitive and is subject to testing for alcohol and controlled substances. Must successfully pass a background check.
